    Premature baby clothes

    A premature baby is still very small and normal baby clothes are often too big for the child. Most baby clothes is only available from size 50/56 and even those sizes are sometimes too small for new-borns. Many of our items start with a size 44 so that you also come to us if your baby comes a bit earlier than expected.

    In some cases, your baby doesn’t even need to be born early to wear premature clothes. It is also possible that your little one still has to do a lot of growing in the first few months. In that case, you will also need a size 44 so that your baby will have comfortable and good fitting clothes.

    A large part of our collection already starts at size 44. So, even if you have a premature baby, or a very small baby, Dirkje will have what you are looking for. Of course, the Dirkje basic collection is already available in the smallest sizes. These articles are ‘never out of stock’, so even if your child has grown out of it after a few months, you can still buy the same items in a larger size.
